KTI ice storage systems (MIS/MIS-b) serve as buffer storage to cover power peaks in ice demand. The ice storage is actively cooled, therefore storage temperature and humidity remain constant. Perfect storage conditions for flake ice and plate ice.
The ice can be stored for several days and still remain transportable via screw conveyors or blower systems.

KTI plate ice machines are the most energy-efficient machines for the production of ice.
KTI flake ice plants are used for cooling concrete, fish and other food products as well as the chemical industry.
KTI semi-automatic ice storage systems (MIS-sa) are mostly used when smaller quantities of ice are to be stored or when the process does not need to be fully automated.
KTI transport ice storage systems (TIS) perform two important functions.
